The story behind the film...

"The Ledger" was made through a collaboration between Moving Mountains Productions and River Tree Media for the Storyteller's 2019 1-week film challenge. In early July of that year, we assembled a team in Alberta, Canada where we received the surprise elements that must be included in the film in order to qualify (a book, breaking a leg, and 1 Samuel 12:14). After a full week of hectic writing, filming, editing, and very little sleep, we finally submitted our film with 7 minutes to spare!

It wasn't until several months later at The Way of the Storyteller event in Tennessee that the winner of the competition was announced: "...The Ledger!" The official online release happened in February of 2021.
